From 3. to 5. of March 2017 in Veles was held a training for TV journalism which was attended by ten journalist from 8 media from the country. The lecturers on the training were BBC journalist and editor Rachel Wright and Ana Petruseva from BIRN.

Through the sessions the participants were able to learn more about the basic TV principles including Ed values, sequencing and shot selection and scenes, writing for TV and interviewing. An important part of the training was devoted to workshops where each participant individually worked on a specific task which later was presented. Also several stories were shown, analysed and discussed by the lecturers and the participants.


The training was part of the project funded by the European Union “Investigative reporting to boost reforms”.
